  • Model 7380D AirStat® Steady-State DC Bar Ionizer is designed to provide ionization for the ESD sensitive device handling areas such as semiconductor back-end, surface mount process and telecommunication component handling applications QuadPoint® nozzle design does not generate induction field by AC swing voltage source which could lead an ESD damage on device during processes.

    The AirStat® Steady-State DC Bar Ionizer is designed for versatile ESD control applications, especially suited for space limited environment such as inside of automated handling equipment (AHE) and manual assembly areas. AirStat® Steady-State DC technology is adjustable linear output voltage and maintain offset balance at very low level for ESD-safe handling. With LED display and output audio alarms, users can identify ion balance and HV power failure status.

  • This ionizer has developed for Advanced Package Device handling such as 2.5/3D IC process which ESD sensitivity down to 30 volts for micro-bump and 5 volts for hybrid-bonding process area. These micro-bump and hybrid-bonding interconnect area a path of ultra fast signal bandwidth. Thus it should be lower protection impedance and get very sensitive than before at very low ESD withstand level of voltages. Due to confined space in automation process tool, bar ionizers are preferred static control solution with AC high voltage souring bar ionizers. This conventional AC ionizer also creating electric field and give an ESD damage to interconnection region. QuadPoint Steady-State DC Bar ionizer resolve this electric field effect and neutralization even at 1 inch distance.
